This variety is everywhere. All you have to do it drive or walk around a bit and you'll see one. Central American Spiny Tail Iguana is the type this one was I think. They are commonly eaten by Costa Ricans. And in Nicaragua you can actually buy them at some of the markets. They big ones are slow and easy to catch. Ctenosaura similis
