Mine is radio controled I used the main motor from my broken airhog havoc helicopter. I also put little stabilizers to drag on the ground. Even has a blue blinking light

And, the obvious answer is... from a pager! Nobody uses them any more, so you should be able to find or "borrow" an old one to take apart. Cell phones that vibrate also have them, and you can also buy them online. Just search for "pager motors."
